Green Carbon Talent is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee and manage commercial aspects of cladding projects across the Cardiff region. This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in façade or cladding works who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all costs relating to cladding and façade projects from initial estimates through to final accounts.

  • Prepare, negotiate, and analyse project costs, tenders, and contracts.

  • Conduct regular cost reviews, valuations, and financial reporting.

  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure budgets, timelines, and quality standards are met.

  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring value for money without compromising on safety or quality.

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships.

  • Provide accurate forecasts and advise on potential cost savings or variations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the cladding or façade sector (essential).

  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred).

  • Membership with RICS or working towards professional accreditation (desirable).

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
