Quantity Surveyor – Facades / Cladding Projects
Location: Hybrid – combination of home and office (Greenwich)
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 + package
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of facades, cladding, and re-cladding projects. The role offers hybrid working, allowing a balance of home-based work and office presence for key project meetings.
The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring costs are controlled, budgets are maintained, and value is maximised throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for facade and cladding works
Monitor project costs and report on financial performance against budgets
Produce interim valuations, final accounts, and change order documentation
Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and manage tender processes
Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in cost control and reporting
Collaborate with design, delivery, and management teams to ensure accurate cost management
Maintain records and documentation in line with company and project standards
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on facades, cladding, or re-cladding projects
Strong knowledge of construction costs, procurement, and contract administration
Experienced in preparing cost reports, valuations, and commercial documentation
Excellent organisational and analytical skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements
Package
£65,000 – £80,000 base salary depending on experience
