Estimator – Roofing / Cladding Projects
Location: Bradford office (4 days from home, 1 day in office)
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 + package
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to support the delivery of roofing and cladding projects. This role offers flexible working, with the majority of time spent working from home and regular office attendance in Bradford.
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and supporting the commercial team in delivering competitive and profitable bids.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates for roofing and cladding projects
Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine scope and material requirements
Produce tender documentation, bills of quantities, and cost plans
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
Review and validate quotations and proposals
Support the Project Manager and commercial team in cost planning and risk assessment
Maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs
Ensure compliance with company processes and standards
Candidate Profile
Proven experience as an Estimator on roofing and cladding projects
Strong technical understanding of building envelope systems and construction methods
Experienced in preparing bills of quantities, cost plans, and tender documentation
Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
Comfortable with hybrid working: 4 days from home, 1 day in Bradford office
Package
£55,000 – £60,000 base salary
