Green Carbon Talent are seeking a qualified and reliable Domestic Electrician to support a growing pipeline of residential electrical and renewable installation projects across the North West.
This is a sub-contract or temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for an experienced electrician looking for consistent work with the potential to transition into a long-term role within an expanding renewable energy contractor.
The role involves a mix of domestic electrical installation, inspection, and testing — with occasional travel for national projects as required.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out domestic electrical installations, upgrades, and rewires

Perform inspection, testing, and certification to BS7671 standards

Work independently or as part of a small team on renewable and retrofit projects

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures

Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time

Support wider project teams during installation and commissioning
Requirements

NVQ Level 3 – Electrical Installation

ECS Gold Card
-
2391-52 Inspection & Testing qualification

Proven domestic installation experience

Strong understanding of current wiring and safety regulations

Excellent attention to detail and professional communication skills
-
Willingness to travel when required (sporadic national projects)
