Green Carbon Talent are supporting a respected building envelope contractor in their search for a skilled Designer with experience in curtain walling and glazing systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, growing business delivering innovative façade and glazing projects across the North West.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and technical delivery of complex external envelope schemes, working closely with project and site teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and buildability from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed designs and technical drawings for curtain walling and glazing systems

Support project delivery teams with technical input and coordination

Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure design accuracy

Assist with design revisions, value engineering, and problem-solving during project delivery

Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and regulations
Requirements

Proven experience within the curtain walling or glazing sector

Strong understanding of façade and cladding system design

Proficiency in relevant CAD or BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks)

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Experience across the full building envelope is beneficial but not essential

Must have right to work in the UK – sponsorship not available
