Designer – Facades / Cladding
Location: Flexible – 4 days from home, 1 day in Greenwich
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + package
The Role
Our client is seeking a Designer with strong experience in cladding and re-cladding projects. The role offers a flexible working arrangement, combining home-based work with one day per week in Greenwich.
The Designer will be responsible for producing detailed design information for façade and cladding packages, ensuring compliance with technical standards, project requirements, and programme timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed facade and cladding designs, including re-cladding projects
Coordinate design with structural, MEP, and architectural elements
Ensure design compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
Review and resolve technical queries and site issues
Support the handover of design packages to the delivery team
Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and external consultants
Maintain documentation and records of design decisions and revisions
Candidate Profile
Proven experience designing facades, cladding, and re-cladding projects
Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems and construction methods
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to work independently while managing priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with hybrid working: 4 days from home, 1 day in Greenwich
Package
£50,000 – £60,000 base salary
