Green Carbon Talent are seeking an experienced Managing Surveyor to join a leading building envelope contractor based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to take ownership of high-value façade and cladding projects across the capital.
Working as part of a forward-thinking team, you’ll oversee all commercial and financial aspects of projects up to £10m in value, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction. The role offers a balance of site, office, and home-based working.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the commercial management of multiple cladding and façade projects

Prepare, manage, and review budgets, valuations, and cost forecasts

Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and contract negotiations

Provide accurate financial reporting and cost control

Support project teams from tender through to final account

Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
Requirements

Proven experience as a Managing Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the cladding or façade sector

Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding (JCT, NEC, etc.)

Experience managing projects valued up to £10m

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Full envelope experience advantageous, but not essential
